I run Windows 10, updated to e4.2 and my drop down lettering menu freezes. It was freezing before the e4.2 update, so the update did not fix it. Anyone having this trouble? Wilcom told me it must be my computer. The only way to fix it is to restart the software. It is intermittent.

Did you ever find a solution to this issue? We are have the same problem and cant find a solution. We have done a repair and we have also uninstalled and reinstalled.

What is the fix for this? Mine is doing it also. The drop down lettering freezes.

I am still having the trouble. Idk what it is. This software is getting glitchie. During the holidays, I don't have time to figure this out. It's frustrating.

still a problem here. we cannot pinpoint we are doing at the time that causes it either. There doesn't seem to be anything consistent that we are doing when it happens. Hopefully we can find a fix as it is extremely frustrating to have to restart the program every time.

I am having this problem too. I had ES 4.5G and updated to ES 4.5.1 R2 and that is when the drop-down takes a long time to open. Also, the entire program now runs slower. I have a new computer and it runs bad. I am thinking about dumping ES and try Hatch it does just about everything ES does. I know, not the special stuff but for simple digitizing, it seems to be good. And it does multi-hooping that I need.
