Symptom:
Splash screen appears but software does not open.
Solution:
It is most likely caused by a corrupted recovery file that the software is trying to open, do a Purge Recovery to resolve this problem:
1) Open Task Manager
2) In Process, select “ES.EXE”, then click on the “End Process” button
Note: If you are unable perform the steps above, reboot the PC to get rid of the Splash screen.
3) Go to Start > All Programs > Wilcom EmbroideryStudio e3.0 > Wilcom EmbroideryStudio e3.0 Tools > Purge Recovery
4) In the Purge Recovery dialog box, check the checkbox of “Delete Backup Files”, then click on the “OK” button
Note: At this point, the problem should have been resolved.
